Support for Memberships in Professional Organizations: Take Advantage of this Reimbursement Opportunity!

The District is committed to supporting the professional growth of its full-time faculty by covering 50% of your professional organization dues, up to $250 per faculty member per year. Joining a professional organization is a valuable way to stay current in your field, enhance your skills, and deepen your expertise. If you haven’t already, now is a great time to take advantage of this benefit!
ProTip: If you have yet to join a particular professional organization, discuss your intention with your dean prior to joining to confirm it meets the requirements of AP-7160.
Here’s how the process works:
Complete the Professional Dues Reimbursement Form and sign it.
Include the invoice and proof of payment with your submission.
Send the documents to your Dean for review and signature.
If approved, the form and documents will be submitted to the Executive Assistant of the appropriate VP for review and processing.
If for any reason your request is not approved, your dean will provide you with a written explanation outlining the rationale for the decision.
